Gordon inches closer to Martinsville pole record.

David Reutimann qualified the #44 Michael Waltrip Racing Toyota 15th in his first race in the car formerly occupied by Dale Jarrett while Michael McDowell will start 34th in his first ever NASCAR Sprint Cup race.

McMurray and Schrader were the two fastest 'go or go home' drivers and they will be joined in Sunday's race by Bill Elliott (17th), Dave Blaney (18th), Mike Skinner (30th), Regan Smith (33rd), Patrick Carpentier (37th) and Dario Franchitti who will start 43rd and last.

Kyle Petty, John Andretti, Tony Raines and Joe Nemechek failed to qualify.
