Veteran driver Dennis Setzer takes emotional Craftsman Truck Series victory at Martinsville.

After stepping in for an ill Elliott Sadler during the first NASCAR Sprint Cup Series practice session of the weekend on Friday Dennis Setzer then drove to victory in Saturday's Craftsman Truck Series race at the half-mile Martinsville Speedway.

Driving a truck owned by Bobby Hamilton Racing Setzer quickly dedicated his win to his late friend, whose team had been winless since his death in January 2007.

Sprint Cup Series regular Kyle Busch was on course for a top three finish behind Setzer but crashed going into the final corner trying to wrestle second place away from Johnny Benson. Busch's demise handed second to Matt Crafton with Rick Crawford third and Ken Schrader fourth in his first run in a Toyota.

Of the other Sprint Cup drivers in the field Travis Kvapil claimed seventh behind Erik Darnell and David Starr while Denny Hamlin and Mike Skinner were 21st and 29th respectively.

Busch was eventually classified 26th but maintains a 35 point lead over Todd Bodine in the overall standings.

Ex Formula One driver Scott Speed continued his NASCAR learning experience and finished tenth.
