Damien Faulkner moved a step closer to retaining his title with victory in a thrilling 15th round of the Porsche Carrera Cup GB at Knockhill – bringing the winning run of Danny Watts to an end.

Pickford was also thrilled with his result having only been asked to compete on Thursday, while Harvey enjoyed coming through the pack even if he was unable to go from back-to-front.

Templeman and Williams battled home fifth and sixth on the their rooted tyres, while Edwards took control of the pro-am category from the start. Andy Purdie led the chase of Edwards, with Nigel Rice completing the podium.
