DH:
Exactly - anything less than a win and I think our championship is over. I am not saying it is a win or bust but we certainly need to be getting some wins. You can drop your two worst scores. So if we are to drop our two worst scores to date, we have got a second place and that now needs to be backed up with some wins really. That is what we are aiming for.

What about the other two events, the Rally Yorkshire and of course Rally GB?
DH:
Rally Yorkshire will be difficult for us just because of the straights where you hit 135 mph no problem. But the S2000 cars are rev limited and it means we will be doing a maximum of 115-118 mph and so that won’t be the best of rallies for us. However, if you get bad conditions or if something changes it could be a little bit different.
As for Rally GB the car will be very good there and I think it could shine. I am hoping - Rally GB counts as two scores - so we have still got enough opportunities left to try and get some wins, but we just need to be doing it as soon as we can really.
Crash.net:
Turning to the Chinese Rally Championship - you’re results there have been great. You have taken three wins from three so far. Are you enjoying doing that?
DH:
It is fantastic. I was with the team last year – it was a new team and there was a little bit of development to be done. We have now got the car sorted. The team is working really well. I have got a good engineer and we have got a good relationship. It just makes our rallies very, very easy. The fact you can come in and everybody is pulling in the right direction - it really is going good.
It is an extremely competitive championship - but when you have had three wins out of three, everyone thinks it must be easy. That is not the case. There are some real tough competitors over there. You have got some of the top Finns, the top New Zealand and Australian drivers and things. It really is a hard battle. We have just clicked and got everything going well
I am packing now to go out there again ready for the next round this weekend [August 4/5].
Crash.net:
What is the target on this coming event [August 4/5]? Make it four wins from four?
DH:
Yeah, I think the more you win, the more you want to win. It is always going to be tough - but you start thinkingm you can possibly keep winning more and more. When I was in the America championship I actually won six rallies in a row. I would like to try and beat that record out there if I can.
