RS:
We are already talking about next year and we would like to do the British Rally Championship again. Whether we can stay in a Group N car or not and try and run at the front we have got to wait and see. We are talking to some sponsors and there is a possibility of maybe doing a front-wheel drive car, but it is early days. We would however, certainly like to be in the BRC in 2008.
Crash.net:
Any idea when we might get an announcement on that front?
RS:
[pause] Probably nearer to Rally GB - so sometime in November.
Crash.net:
What have you made of the WRC this year and who do you think will take the drivers’ title – Marcus Gronholm or Sebastien Loeb?
RS:
If you were a betting man I think you would have to go with Loeb wouldn’t you? Just look at his results and his reliability over the years. I would like to see Marcus win however. It is enjoyable to see him driving and it would be good to see him take it this year. He has the speed to do it, but he needs, in my view, a bit more consistency.
