It has been a close battle this year in the WRC between Sebastien Loeb and Marcus Gronholm, how do you see it developing during the remaining five events?
JW:
I reckon as Gronholm is going to retire this year, he is going to want to go out with a bang! He will push all the way, but Seb isn’t going to be a walk over is he? It will be a good battle.

How big a blow is it for the WRC to lose Marcus Gronholm?
JW:
He has been such a big character in the sport for so many years now it will leave a big gap. But I think Mikko Hirvonen has progressed so much in the last few seasons I am sure he will be up to take his spot and it will of course open more doors for other drivers’.

Do you think Mikko can take the fight to Loeb next year?
JW:
Well you don’t know really what his team orders have been this year. You don’t know if he has been going flat-out or holding back. You never know he might be able to. Let’s wait and see.
