You have been running on a control tyre. What are your thoughts on that? Is that something you agree with?
JW:
Yeah, it is good. It is the first time I have actually run on Pirellis. I really like the tyres and they work well on the car. We have had no issues with that at all and I think the Pirellis will work well for GB.

It is well known that you are a member of the MSA British Rally Elite squad. How much has that helped you this season?
JW:
Massively, with the British championship the rounds are a bit more like WRC events - they are longer and you do recces. It is all those sorts of things that we learn about with the MSA British Rally Elite. OK it is geared at the WRC events, but it helps you a lot with the British championship as well. It is really beneficial.

You made that surprise appearance on a WRC round, standing in for Per-Gunnar Andersso in the JRC back in August. Is that your aim for next year? What were your recollections of that event and how much has that spurred you on for 2008?
JW:
It was fantastic and it really shows that those opportunities are available and if we work hard we can get into the Junior championship. It is my aim to get into the Juniors over the next two years. I am working hard at it at the moment to try and get back in the Super 1600 next year, whether it is British championship or Juniors.
Crash.net:
Is it a question of money or are there just not many opportunities to get into the JRC?
JW:
It is money - that is the main thing. There are enough opportunities if you have got the money to get there.
