What will it be like switching to a Group N car having used a Fiesta S1600 and a Citroen C2 in 2007?
DG:
I don't think it should be a problem changing to a Group N car. It is probably a little bit easier today than the Super 1600. It is obviously a lot faster and probably a little bit deceiving - with the speed and such. But I don't reckon it will be a big issue. I haven't driven the Mitsubishi yet of course - but I am not really that bothered about it.

How much will your experience of the BRC events from '07 help you in 2008?
DG:
This will be my third year now in the BRC and it is always good to know the rallies you are going to and the nature of the roads. It will obviously be a big help.

Will you get much testing prior to the Pirelli in April?
DG:
There is just the one test organised. It is a two-day test. I don't think we have sorted out a location yet. But it will be good to spend time with the team and familiarise myself with the car.

How important is that test going to be in terms of getting a good set-up and so on?
DG:
I don't think it will be such an issue with the set-up because ADR will be - and have been - running the two works [Mitsubishi] cars. They will already have a good base set-up. It will just be a bit of fine tuning. It will be more about me getting use to the car 100 per cent.

What else are you going to be working on for the new season? Fitness?
DG:
You always have to work on your fitness for this game. I turned over a new leaf in January.
