More recently I have been given so much time and effort from my parents, Loughborough Car Club, F1000, Robert Reid, Sweep Motorsport and of course David Higgins, Hugh Evans and everyone at the TQ.com and the WY Rally Team.
This is also a good opportunity to introduce my new sponsor - NatWest Private Banking Midlands, who I hope will enjoy their introduction to rallying. I can't say thank you enough for everyone's support so far.
Things are going to be very hectic this year. Obviously I will be doing the British Championship and Chinese Championship alongside David Higgins, then when I’m not competing I will be karting or training with David, going to the gym, taking part in the MSA British Rally Academy or just doing whatever I can to help my rallying. It may seem like a tall order but I’m happy to do anything that will help me learn.
After every event I shall keep you all up to date with how I am finding everything and you can read all about it here on
www.crash.net.
It’s going to be a very tough year, and I will have to learn many new skills very quickly if I am to succeed.
My target for China is just to learn and finish, but I hope to begin getting good results by the end of the year.
In the BRC I will be in the Suzuki Swift Cup, I think it’s going to be great fun with good competition and I think I have a good chance to get some good results.
Until then I hope you all have a great 2008 in whatever you do and I hope to see some of you on a rally soon!
Nick
