Hugh is looking forward to getting back onto the stages, having experience of each event under his belt now. He did so well in his first year, he and his co-driver Iestyn
Williams will be out to carry on that success and I think they'll show a lot of improvement.
It will be a development year for Nick as he steps up to the Suzuki series with his only previous experience being in a Nissan Micra in the Formula 1000 series.
So over the next few weeks our new Subarus will arrive, we'll get testing and it is all systems go for the 2008 British Rally Championship. This year is going to be one of the most exciting of my career.
Aside from the rallying, would you believe another Higgins has taken to motorsport over the winter break!
If it ever comes to the point where me and my brother Mark retire, my daughter Alicia is getting ready to take our place. When I was younger I learned a lot of skills through karting and I still go karting to keep my skills sharp on weekends when I'm not out rallying. Alicia recently took to the track at Glan-Y-Gors in Wales for her first kart test and it was a big success. She might only be five, but blimey she's fast!
