BRC: Preview - Pirelli International Rally.

Geoff Mayes previews the action ahead of the start of the 2008 Tesco 99 Octane MSA British Rally Championship.

The Citroens will fight for Class R2 honours against the Ford Fiesta ST's of Andreas Sjolander, Joakim Nyman and Victor Henriksoon, all whom hail from Sweden.

Stefan Davis returns at the wheel of his screaming Ford Puma S1600 and will do battle with the Renault Clio of Irishman Brian O'Mahony for Super 1600 honours whilst, in line with the 'going green ethos' of the championship Steve Graham and Fin McCaul will once again fight it out for Diesel Class honours.

One thing is for certain, the Tesco 99 MSA British Rally Championship is as strong as ever and whoever tastes the champagne in Carlisle on Saturday evening will be a deserving winner.
