BRC Ulster: Mark Higgins wins again.

Mark Higgins takes victory on the Ulster Rally to close in on the BRC points lead.

More cruel luck was to follow as Phillip Morrow’s team points were later removed due to an apparent paperwork discrepancy regarding his co-driver’s registration. With this, the UK’s premier rallying championship, moving back onto gravel for the final three rounds, the fight for supremacy is as tight as ever and all we can hope for is that the titles are won in the stages and not in the stewards’ rooms.

The next round, the International Rally of Yorkshire, favours the superior speed of the works Mitsubishis but with three wins on the trot Mark Higgins certainly hold the psychological advantage over the reigning champion Wilks. With that in mind it would be hard to pick a favourite for the fourth round of the 2008 Tesco 99 Octane MSA British Rally Championship.
