Moss continued: ''The Championship has already captured the imagination of forward thinking manufacturers such as Ford, Peugeot, Proton and Volkswagen all of which have made a firm commitment to this exhilarating new series. Other important manufacturers and sponsors, who see the championship as revolutionising rallying, have also shown an interest.''
Andy concluded: ''We want Formula Rally to be open to a cross section of entrants, which will make for an even more exciting championship. Formula Rally also sees the introduction of new individual titles, 'Privateer', 'Ladies', 'Junior' and 'Overseas', which will maintain the competitiveness and tension of the action throughout the season.''
