TQ's David Higgins has announced that he will continue working with the Autotek team on the Wales Rally GB, the final round in the 2007 Tesco 99 Octane MSA British Rally Championship.
Higgins switched to using an Autotek-run Subaru Impreza for the International Rally Yorkshire earlier this month and despite a scary moment with a digger on SS3, finished the event in third place overall.
The 34-year-old is now looking forward to his second outing with the Impreza: "Wales Rally GB is an intense three day rally. For an event that long you need to know you are in a car you trust, with a good team running it," he explained.
"In Yorkshire I found Ken Skidmore and the Autotek team extremely professional in both the way they ran the car and their interest in how we were progressing during the event. We were new to them, but they made us feel very welcome.
"By staying with them I know I will be in the best position possible to do well on the event. It counts as two rounds of the British Rally Championship, so double points are at stake."
The rally, which is also the final round of the
FIA World Rally Championship, takes place from November 29 to December 2.
