The south is gearing up for one of the biggest events of the year with an impressive 95 crews lined up to tackle the Tempest Rally.
Will Nicholls will be bidding for a hat trick of wins while other attractions are set to include the Army Rally Team and competitors in the BRC Rallymasters Championship.
And spectators can see the action at Rushmoor Arena in Aldershot on Saturday November 10 as well as the nearby forests of Warren Heath and Yately Wood where the rally cars will be providing a day of high speed action for visitors to enjoy.
This year organisers have created two separate rallies both running on the same day and on the same high speed tests but one for the two wheel drive cars and a second for the more powerful four wheel drive vehicles a formula which will ensure non-stop action for spectators and has been welcomed by competitors.
It's certainly a little bit different," said rally manager Barry Guess. But we wanted to ensure that everyone gets to run on the best possible rally surfaces and by introducing this innovative format the two wheel drive cars will get to run first on several stages.''
