Welshpool resident Geoff Mayes, who is making his British rally driving debut on the JRS Winter Stages on February 16, is offering people the chance to 'pay and display' on his Geoff Jones Motorsport-run Nissan Micra.
Geoff, who manages his own Motorsport P.R. firm and who will be co-driven by Machynlleth resident Richard Owen on the 40 mile rally, is inviting people who donate money to the Wales Air Ambulance through Geoff's charity page -
www.justgiving.com/rallyingforcharity - to have their name, logo or even a personal message stuck on the car.
"I am offering people who pay a tenner or more the chance to have their name on the Micra," he explained. "I am keeping both rear panels and the boot free of livery and will stick up all the names of people and companies who donate to the charity.
"Of course, if you want your space to have a personal message - remember, Valentines Day is only two days before - then we can do that too!"
All that people need to do to get their names on the Micra is contribute to Geoff's Just Giving page and he will handle the rest.
Thus far the likes of Barclays Bank, Dunlop Tyres, Tesco 99, K-Motion and Richard Egger Insurance have offered their support, along with a number of cash donations from the general public.
