Patik Flodin will compete in the Tesco 99 Octane MSA British Rally Championship in 2008, having inked a deal to use one of TEG Sport's new Subaru Impreza N14 rally cars.
The 23-year-old, who is the protégé of 2003 world rally champion, Petter Solberg, wasn't included on the official entry list released by the organisers of the championship last week.
However he has since tied up the loose ends and will now link-up with former Welsh rally champion, Wyn Humphries, who made his debut in the BRC last year and finished fourth overall in the standings.
Flodin, who is a Swedish Rally champion and who has taken in 18 events in the World Rally Championship, will 'spearhead' the TEG Sport challenge, with both him and Humphries competing in vivid orange and black liveried cars - the colours of new sponsor, Enede.com Ltd, a telecoms platform company that provides a variety of internet and mobile phone services.
Atlas Communications, a Scottish-based company, who provide a wide range of products and services for mobile infrastructure and mobile phone users will continue to support TEG Sport as will Modena Racing Gears of Australia.
Flodin will be co-driven by Goran Bergsten, while Rob Fagg will call the notes for Humphries.
TEG Sport are planning a test at Sweet Lamb, in Wales in the next few weeks ahead of the opening round in the British championship, the Pirelli International Rally, which runs from April 18-19.
