Matt Beebe has revealed that he will compete on the
Jim Clark International Rally next month.
Beebe had to sit out the recent Pirelli Rally due to financial constraints, however he has managed to put together a deal to take in what is the second round in the Tesco 99 Octane MSA British Rally Championship and the fourth in the Global Group Irish Tarmac Rally Championship.
Beebe, who won the R2 class title last season in the BRC, the fifth title he has taken in the last four years, plans to again use his 'old faithful' MG ZR, which is currently up for sale.
"The next round [in the BRC] is the Jim Clark International," he wrote exclusively in his Pirelli Blog for
Crash.net. "I've won the class there for the last three years and as the MG-ZR has not been sold, we will be competing there.
"It is also a round of the Global Group Irish Tarmac Rally Championship - a series I am hoping to compete in next year, driving for South West College, Omagh in a car they are preparing and running.
"I am still hopeful of finding a budget to enable us to do more events this year too.
