The Mitsubishi Lancer Register is hoping to create a new World Record for the largest number of Lancer Evolutions ever seen on a circuit at one time next month.

The attempt will take place following a Mitsubishi Lancer Register trackday at Castle Combe racing circuit in Wiltshire on July 12.

"All proceeds - once the Guinness adjudicator has been paid - will go to the Richard Burns Foundation," said Darin Frow, who is involved in the attempt.

"We already have 250 Evos taking part and are still looking for more."

The Richard Burns Foundation, a charity set-up in memory of the 2001 World Rally Champion, was officially launched at the Goodwood Festival of Speed back in July 2006.
