The organisers of the Trackrod Rally Yorkshire have generously decided to donate a slice of all the entry fees from the event to the Michael Park Fund, it has been confirmed.

Five pounds from each car that lines up to tackle the Yorkshire stages will go to the motorsport safety charity - meaning if all 180 places for the rally are snapped up it will be in line for a cash boost of around £1000.

“We really wanted to do something for Richard Burns and Michael Park and decided it would be best if the money went directly to helping motorsport competitors,” said Rod Parkin, Clerk of the Course for the Trackrod Rally Yorkshire.
