Jonathan Greer will be partnered by a new co-driver on the Trackrod Rally Yorkshire this coming weekend, the fifth round in the 2008 Tesco 99 Octane MSA British Rally Championship.
Greer, who enters the event fresh from celebrating his 20th Birthday last Sunday, will team up with Welshman Dai Roberts.
The MSA British Rally Elite member is looking forward to getting back onto gravel and he is hoping to solidify his impressive fourth place in the overall BRC drivers' championship.
"I have not competed on a gravel rally since the Severn Valley in May," said Greer, "so it is important I get a bit of seat time prior to the event to get used to the car sliding around again instead of sticking to the tarmac. Gravel is my preferred surface so I am really looking forward to the Trackrod."
Greer meanwhile, who took part in the MSA Elite training event at Curborough sprint track near Staffordshire last week, added that it was a real help to get some tips from the likes of Marcus Gronholm and Phil Mills.
"The event was great to be a part of, getting the benefit of knowledge from two World Champions was something very special indeed," summed-up Greer, who will start the Trackrod as number twelve seed.
