More of the same for World Series at Donington?

Friday, 9th September 2005

Thanks to two wins at Oschersleben, Epsilon Euskadi's Robert Kubica has built up a serious lead over his rivals in the World Series by Renault, with only six races remaining in its inaugural season.

Elsewhere, Pastor Maldonado will return to competition with DAMS this weekend following his lengthy race ban for dangerous driving in practice at Monaco, but Karun Chandhok will not feature at RC Motorsport, where his place will be taken by Matteo Pellegrini, who finished as runner-up in last year's World Series Light championship. The other vacancy, created by Enrico Toccacelo's move to F1 with Minardi, will see Brazilian Danilo Dirani step into the second Victory Engineering car from his regular drive in British F3.
