Kerr's World: Turkish promise.

Thursday, 15th June 2006

I don't mind travelling, but the unfortunate thing is that, although we get to go to all these different places, we never really get to see that much of them.

The World Series cars are quite different to the likes of the A1GP car, so the guys in the series who have a year's experience under their belt are definitely at a slight advantage over the rookies. For me though, it's just a case of adapting and getting on with the job. I didn't have the luxury of testing over the winter, but I was at least keeping race sharp in A1GP. We've been getting our heads round the car over the past two events and we're going to maximise our time here in Turkey as we have extra test sessions scheduled for Thursday and Friday to learn the track and work on set-up.

We'll be able to use that time to get an indication of where we are with the car before heading into Saturday's race one qualifying. We'll know then what needs to be done and, obviously, I'm hoping that we'll come away from Turkey with two very strong finishes.
