Guillaume Moreau scored a home victory for himself at Magny-Cours, with Miguel Molina and Julien Jousse rounding out the podium.

With race one podium sitters Clivio Piccione and Davide Valsecchi finishing seventh and eighth, only two drivers who finished in the top ten for the first event failed to repeat that feat in the second; Pavlovic and Hanley. As such, Alejandro Nunez scored a useful two points for Comtec Racing and Mikhail Aleshin scored a point for Carlin.
