Days after confirming the identity of its first driver, Draco Racing has completed its 2008 World Series by Renault line-up with the signing of Marco Barba.

The younger brother of Alvaro, who competed for Draco this season, Marco joins Bertrand Baguette in one of the series' most coveted teams. Although his elder sibling did not let the team down in 2007 - finishing eighth in the championship and winning at Donington Park - family policy dictates that 2008 is Marco's season for financial support. Marco was unveiled during a demonstration around the streets of Valencia, driving in front of 3000 spectators - including his brother.

Although Barba comes to the series after securing the runners-up spot in this year's Spanish F3 Championship, it will not be the first time the 22-year-old has raced in the World Series, after managing a handful of races for Jenzer Motorsport in 2006. His best result then was 16th, and he will be expecting more from his time at Draco.

Barba will now join Baguette in an intensive off-season testing programme, kicking off with three days this week at the Valencia circuit as the World Series moves on from its last collective test at Paul Ricard. All teams will continue to run with the current-spec car, before the new Dallara is released to them early next year.
