KTR are looking for a new World Series by Renault driver after admitting that Daniil Move is on the verge of leaving the Belgian team.
The Russian driver started the season with KTR but despite showing flashes of speed, most notably his career-best fifth place finish at Spa-Francorchamps, he has generally struggled to adapt to the new machinery.
As such, Move is keen to look elsewhere, although team boss Kurt Mollekens insists the split has been a mutual one.
"The relationship hasn't worked out, although there is respect on both sides and we are on good terms," he said. "Daniil has shown potential when he has a car that he is confident in, as at Spa, but has failed to reproduce that form."
"KTR has proven it can produce a competitive car for Guillaume Moreau, but this car does not suit my driving style,” added Move himself.
Still, KTR, who are currently tenth in the overall standings, have plenty of time to find a new driver though as the World Series by Renault doesn't resume again for another two months at the Nurburgring.
