Co-ordinator's Report: Larkhall.

Tuesday, 26th June 2007

BRDC Stars of Tomorrow Co-ordinator casts a look back over round four of the 2007 campaign at Larkhall in Scotland.

BRDC Stars of Tomorrow co-ordinator Debbie Sellers reports on round four of the 2007 series at Larkhall in Scotland and looks forward to the next meetings at Llandow in Wales and Genk in Belgium, with important information for competitors.

Thank you to the West of Scotland Kart Club. We always get a very warm, friendly welcome when we visit this circuit. The unofficial practice on Friday was well-attended and went without complications.

Please remember that when it comes to Saturday practice it is under permit, which means everyone runs to MSA/Championship regulations. There was a lot of misunderstanding at Larkhall regarding stickers and passes. ALL Championship decals must be displayed during official practice and race days. They are unlimited and we give the stickers out free-of-charge at every meeting. Those not displaying their decals at Llandow will not be allowed to practice.

Practice will be available at Llandow on Friday, 13 July. Competition secretary details are in your Llandow regulations.

The timetable available on the Stars website is classed as provisional and there to act as a general guide only. Please check in your official programme given to you at Saturday signing-on for any changes.

As a few of you will already have found out, those not adhering to the time slots allocated to each class for tyre collection will not be able to collect them until later in the evening. This will be carried out at every round, so make sure you know when you need to pick them up.

Don’t forget to order wetsuits or any spare parts from JKH if you know you will be needing them for Llandow. If he knows in advance they will be delivered there.
