Formula 1 date change forces Welsh round to move forward a week.

Comment on this Story
Round five on the 2008 BRDC Stars of Tomorrow calendar - at Llandow in south Wales - has had to be moved forward a week following a reshuffle on the Formula 1 calendar.

The date of next year's British Grand Prix has recently been changed to 4-6 July, the weekend originally pencilled in for Llandow. As Stars' is currently in negotiatons to stage a special race at Silverstone over the grand prix weekend, the Llandow round has been moved forward a week to 28-29 June.

In so doing it still avoids potential clashes with Super 1 or any other major championships.
