Ford wraps up manufacturers' title in Bahrain.

Ford has won the 2006 V8 Supercar Manufacturers' Championship in Bahrain this weekend, with Jason Bright taking his second round win for the year.

Holden won the next two rounds at Surfers Paradise and Symmons Plains, forcing Ford to win this weekend's round in order to secure the title contested between the two marques. Bright's win give the Blue Oval a two round lead over the Lion, securing the 2006 title for the Ford faithful.

The teams' title was also decided this weekend, with the Toll HSV Dealer Team securing an insurmountable lead over their rivals to provide some joy for Holden fans.

The final championship to be decided is the drivers' title, with both Rick Kelly (Holden) and Craig Lowndes (Ford) vying for the final trophy on offer in 2006.
