Kelly wins first Oz V8 race in China.

Holden's Todd Kelly scored a historic win at the Shanghai International Circuit today, winning the first ever Australian V8 Supercar race to be held in China.

"Hitting the tyre bundle hurt a little bit but we didn't have the car as good as we should have and we didn't have a good pitstop so those two things cost you a result," he reflected.

"It was a very interesting race, it was a good battle behind Steve and as the race went on Craig's car was very strong and I had to block him which meant that I hurt the tyres too much.

"It was a great day for the Holden Racing Team, the first round ever in Shanghai and Todd was great, he drove very well, and a great day for Holden with three cars on the podium."

Craig Lowndes was fourth, one place in front of current championship leader, Marcus Ambrose, who made two mistakes and as a result dropped from third to fifth.
