Todd Kelly remains one of the unluckiest drivers in V8 Supercars.
Despite beginning the series with a round win in Adelaide and taking the lead of the championship, Kelly's Holden Racing Team Commodore was soon seen battling mid pack – suffering the same fate as his team mate, with cars that could not match the pace of the front runners.
Kelly again proved to be an ace qualifier – with three pole positions to his name.
He managed to finish sixth in the championship, which, given his run of bad luck, would have been encouraging, and was unchanged on his 2006 series finish.
After five years at the Holden Racing Team, Kelly will move on to new pastures in 2008, with his first ever role as a lead driver with Larry Perkins' Jack Daniel's Racing team, where it is likely that he will still contest for race and round victories.
