Like his team-mate, Jack Perkins made his full-time main game debut in 2007 after a full campaign in the feeder series.
Perkins really struggled however, finishing forty-eighth in the championship, with only scoring points in one round of the championship.
His campaign ended prematurely after being diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes after Bahrain – forcing him to sit out the final two rounds of the championship.
Perkins is expected to run in the Fujitsu Series in 2008 after Todd Kelly replaced him at Jack Daniel's Racing.

Marcus Marshall was an endurance driver for Jack Daniel's Racing in 2007, and replaced Jack Perkins after the latter was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes.
The ex-Champ Car driver ran consistently, despite competing in only two sprint rounds. He finished sixteenth at Symmons Plains – scoring points in two races.
Marshall has been signed to drive the second Britek Motorsport Falcon in 2008, and should benefit from his previous V8 experience, and increased engineering development from that team.
