A noticeable addition to the Holden Racing Team Commodore is the presence of Toll signage along the side of the car. The shipping company switched to the squad when Tander's move from the HSV Dealer Team was announced. Pirtek Fluid Transport Systems – a minor sponsor at the HSVDT – has also switched to ‘Team Red'.

In a further boost to the operation's 2008 campaign, the HRT has already taken a round victory, with Mark Skaife being awarded a retrospective win for the 2000 Clipsal 500 Adelaide – taking his tally to 39 majors.

“You'd always take another victory, but the great thing is that it was a win at Clipsal,” said Skaife.

“Other than Bathurst, it's probably the next hardest race to win. It's a nice part of my career stats so I'm very pleased to have grabbed another Clipsal.”

The Holden Racing Team will participate in pre-season testing during February, before kicking off the season at the Clipsal 500 Adelaide.
