SBR man keen to bounce back from Clipsal disappointment.

“The result at Clipsal was great for us; we have a bit of momentum so hopefully we can carry it on for the next round,” he said. “Everyone on the SP Tools Racing car is on a high. Maybe not so much on the JELD-WEN side but they have done a great job to turn a car around for James as well. There is a great atmosphere within the team.

“It doesn't really change anything though, we will still be aiming for the top 15. You've got to be realistic about it; we still have the same goals for the year.

“Eastern Creek is another new circuit for me so it will take a while to settle in. I've been watching the footage from the last few years. It seems to be a fast and flowing track, definitely a place where you would want your car to be well balanced. I can't really relate it to any of the tracks in New Zealand, there is nothing like it over there.”
