"It is an excellent performance from Latvala, who has managed to stamp his authority on the event so far. It’s obviously a shame though that we have lost a big star like Loeb so early in the event. On the whole our Pirelli Sottozero tyres are working well so far, whether it’s on the WRC cars or the Group N and Super 2000 machinery that is also competing here on the Swedish Rally."
