WRC » Loeb: Matching Sainz record a really good moment.

Monday, 14th August 2006

Two-time world rally champion, Sebastien Loeb has said that he wants to 'savour the feeling' of having equalled Carlos Sainz's record number of wins.

Comment on this Story
"Sure, my lead in the Championship is good, but when you start a rally like here and you know it is tricky, anything can happen. If I retire on one event and Marcus wins, it is a completely different story. But now the situation is quite comfortable and we will try to keep on winning. I will try to win in Finland next weekend. We're heading there on a very positive note now. Marcus wanted to beat me here in Germany - now it's my turn to try and make life difficult for him in his back yard. Last year I was able to challenge Marcus in Finland for the first time, but it wasn't enough. This time, we will see," concluded Seb.
