Munchi's Ford World Rally Team leader, Luis Perez Companc will be co-driven by Jose Diaz on this weekend's Acropolis Rally after his regular co-driver, Jose Volta injured his ribs on the Rally d'Italia Sardegna.

Companc crashed out heavily on day two of the event in Sardinia and while it was hoped Volta would recover in time to be able to compete, unfortunately he has not returned to full fitness ahead of the rough and tough Greek round of the WRC.

Diaz, however, is well up to the challenge. The 22-year-old from Villa Carlos Paz, in Argentina, has attended all of the events contested by the Munchi's Team this season and is relishing the opportunity to co-drive with Luis-Perez.

This will be his third WRC start as a co-driver, having contested Rally Argentina twice previous and has co-driven in the past for the nephew of Juan Pablo Raies, the Munchi's Team's number two driver for their first three events of the year.
