Earlier in the day though, he had not been quite so chipper: "Today I am experiencing a lack of grip from the car, which on a fast rally like this where you have to lean on the chassis and tyres through the corners, is very costly so our overall position is disappointing given our pace in testing here,” he noted post-SS4.

“I have been changing some aspects of the suspension throughout today to feel the changes in grip they give, but we will need to keep looking to find more speed," he summed-up.
