The
FIA, the governing body for the WRC, released the entry list for 2008 on Friday and as expected six teams have been confirmed for the new season, which gets underway later on this month.
There are no surprises and while
Suzuki's arrival means that there will be four manufacturers' competing at the 'senior' level, with Kronos not entering the number of 'teams' remains at six - as it was in 2007.
The entry list, as of January 4, is as follows, although provisions exist for addition 'Manufacturer Teams' to register up until March 31:
