Suzuki #2 concedes place after penalty.

Suzuki's Per-Gunnar Andersson has picked up a 40 second time penalty after he was 4 minutes late leaving service this morning.

The Swede, who suffered a broken driveshaft on Thursday night, just 14 kilometres into SS1, something that meant he had to complete the rest of St Jean en Royans and SS2 with only two-wheel drive, now loses a place as a result and drops to 13th behind Stobart Ford's Matthew Wilson.

Patrick Artru meanwhile who was second in the Group N class at the end of day 1 in his Mitsubishi Lancer was also late out of service. He picked up a 10 second penalty.
