Suzuki's Per-Gunnar Andersson has retired from the Corona Rally Mexico due to engine problems.

P-G had been running seventh overall, when he experienced issues on the final stage on the opening loop on Friday morning.

Although the Swede managed to get his SX4 WRC car back to service in Leon he was unable to continue.
