Britain's Barry Clark has yet to decide on who will sit alongside him this season and replace Scott Martin.
Clark, who won the Fiesta SportingTrophy International series last year, first linked up with Martin in 2006 when they took the
FIA Junior World Rally Championship rookie title.
Last year the two remained together, although Martin dovetailed his commitments with Clark by also competing in the FIA Production Car World Rally Championship with Mark Higgins.
This season Scott has returned to calling the pace-notes for
Matthew Wilson and that has left Barry looking for a new co-driver, ahead of his three WRC events in a Ford Focus RS WRC car in Turkey, Corsica and GB, as well as the selected events he plans to do in the Tesco 99 Octane MSA British Rally Championship.
Speaking exclusively to
Crash.net Radio recently he noted that while no-one has yet be chosen, he does have a short list - which includes Craig Thorley (who most recently called the pace-notes for Ryan Champion and who has also worked in the past with Mark and David Higgins), Gordon Noble (Rally Ireland's new clerk of the course), Paul Nagle (who co-drove for Kris Meeke in '07) and Ian Allsop (who co-drove for Jon Ingram on the recent Rallye Sunseeker).
"It is still something we are working on and fortunately there are quite a lot of co-drivers about. There are a lot looking for seats," Clark replied when asked about the situation.
"I need somebody with a mixture of good experience and enthusiasm to go and compete in the world championship and do there best.
"We have got a short list put together and we are working together with my management and [Ford boss] Malcolm Wilson and we will come up with a suitable plan. Hopefully I can get a co-driver that I can work with all year and form a good bond with for the future."
