Suzuki's Per-Gunnar Andersson has retired from the Rally Argentina prior to the start of the very first stage.

Early reports suggest he had some sort of engine problem - possibly an electronic failure - en-route to SS1. It is not yet known if he will be able to re-join under the SupeRally format on Saturday.
