Citroen number one driver
Sebastien Loeb has triumphed on the Rally Argentina for the fourth year in succession.
Loeb took P1 on Friday in SS5, when
Mikko Hirvonen hit a rock and was forced out - the Finn had been leading by just under a minute.
After that the Frenchman had a healthy 50-odd second cushion and he eventually finished the first leg with a 1.5 minute advantage, despite having only won one stage.
On day two, Seb more or less maintained his position, winning three further tests and finishing the leg 1 minute 19.6 seconds up on his closest rival.
Sunday saw no change and he brought his C4 WRC car home to claim the maximum points and re-take the lead in the drivers' championship.
Chris Atkinson meanwhile took the runners-up spot, after his team-mate,
Petter Solberg was forced out on the final day in SS19 with electrical problems. The Aussie finished 2.5 minutes adrift of Loeb, while Citroen #2
Daniel Sordo completed the rostrum.
The event though was an extremely tough one for the drivers' and ten of the 13 'works' drivers' had big problems and lost huge chunks of time.
