Kronos boss Marc van Dalen is now looking forward to seeing what Campos can do: "I am delighted with today's choice, although it turned out to be extremely difficult to decide between the drivers in the vote. Along with BFGoodrich, we drew up an initial shortlist of three, any one of whom which could have risen to the challenge without any difficulty," he continued.

"All three were chosen as a function of their experience, motivation and ability to fit into the team. We are now extremely fired up at the prospect of working with Miguel Campos, winner of the Portuguese leg of the BFGoodrich Drivers Team programme, when he joins us to try the Peugeot 207 for the first time on May 5. The BFGoodrich technician will profit from the day to explain to him how to optimise his tyres, because that's one of the principal keys to victory."
