"I'm looking forward to this event and it will be good to race back in Europe after three long hauls on the run," said the Brit.
"Last year I was running just outside the points before we retired but the feeling was good and the notes were working well so hopefully we can develop on this a bit more and finish in the points.
"Unlike Jordan the event won't be as physically demanding with the heat but it can be very rough in places so 100 per cent concentration will be the key to finishing this event without problems. I am pleased to be scoring for the
Stobart team again this year. Jordan was a good result for us and I'm confident we can post a strong points' finish here for the team."
Munchi's Ford WRT:

Henning Solberg, car #10]
Henning set for another ‘guest' run alongside Villagra.
Henning Solberg will take in his second event of the season under the Munchi's Ford World Rally Team banner this weekend in Sardinia and the Norwegian reckons another top-five finish should be possible.
Henning notched up his best result of the year in Jordan last month, when he brought his Focus RS WRC07 car home in fourth place and now the 'Team Expert' man will want to try and add to his nine point tally - and get some more points for the 'ice cream' squad, which currently has already scored 14.
"I am hoping for a good result on this rally and I am feeling confident after Jordan where we had our best result so far this year," said the Norwegian.
"On the second half of the rally in Jordan the feeling really started to come and the car was feeling perfect."
Henning has competed on all the WRC events in Sardinia and while he has mixed fortunes, with two retirements and two finishes, he was fourth last year with the Stobart team, less than 15 seconds shy of a step on the rostrum.
"Last year we came fourth here, so close to the podium, so we will be aiming for this sort of top-five result again," he continued.
