Suzuki JWRC man to compete in a Peugeot on his home event.

Suzuki's Michal Kosciuszko has concluded a deal to compete on his home event, the Rally Poland next month.

The Pole, who took his first ever Junior World Rally Championship win on the Rally d'Italia Sardegna last weekend, will swap his Suzuki Swift Super 1600 for a Peugeot 207 Super 2000.

The Rally Poland, which runs from June 6-8, is one of the eight IRC Supporter Events and the second-oldest rally in the world, and comes at a quiet time in the year for Kosciuszko, as the next JWRC event isn't until August, when he will compete on the Rally Finland.

While Kosciuszko has some previous experience of driving the Peugeot 207 S2000, the event is sure to provide tough competition and several top stars are already on the entry list - some no doubt keen to get experience for 2009 as it will form part of the World Rally Championship then.
