Sebastien Loeb re-takes the lead in the race for the 2008 drivers' title following his seventh win in succession in Germany on Sunday.
Loeb now has 76 points, four points more than
Mikko Hirvonen, who drops down to second after only finishing fourth. Daniel Sordo moves up into third place overall, following his Rallye Deutschland runners-up spot, three points ahead of
Chris Atkinson.
In the Manufacturers' championship the
Citroen Total WRT took the maximum 18-point haul and now goes top, eight points up on Ford.
