Citroen retook the lead in the manufacturers' championship in Germany, thanks to its seventh win of the season, its 49th WRC success in total - and its first 1-2 since Rally Ireland last year.

"Sebastien has moved ahead in the drivers' standings, too, so it's been an excellent weekend on all fronts. That said, we can't afford to just sit back and relax now, and we'll all be back at work tomorrow because we've got a busy few months ahead of us."

Asked if he expects another one-two on the other two asphalt events in Catalunya and Corsica in October, Quesnel added that it would definitely be nice.

"I hope we can do that, but I can't tell you [if we will]," he admitted, "We will try to do our best and we will see."
