Sebastien Loeb: "It's true that there's no big fight this weekend, but I prefer to be in control..."

"There wasn't anything particularly special for us today. We were pushing hard this morning and were pretty close to Jari-Matti and Petter, but then we got a puncture on the middle stage of the morning. Now there's 1minute 50s ahead of us and 1minute 40s behind. You've got to keep pushing on roads like these though, but the idea is to get the points for sixth now and see if anyone else who's pushing has a problem."

Urmo Aava [PH Sport-Citroen C4 WRC]:

"It's really not been a very good day for us. This is the second stage we have had to do with the front left damper broken. It's just dangerous. We had the same problem yesterday."

Brice Tirabassi [Subaru WRT]

"Okay we are now eighth, but this event is not easy for us so far. It's been a long day for me, and we have been making some changes to the car, but the feeling is hard for me to find. We are still running further down so there is lots of gravel on the roads and they are very slippery, but it is not easy. We will now try to do some more to get a better feeling tomorrow."

Matthew Wilson [Stobart VK M-Sport Ford WRT]:

"Today has been mega. This time yesterday I was coming into final service a bit unhappy but today I'm coming in with a big smile on my face as we have moved up from 14th to ninth in one day. I just put yesterday's problems behind me and concentrated on driving and it all just seemed to come together. I have been happy with my split times today apart from my first one on every stage and we just have to try and get on the pace from the very start now. The stages tomorrow are a different challenge as they are a bit wider and less technical than today."

Mads Ostberg [Adapta WRT Subaru Impreza WRC]:

"It's been a good day even though we had some slight gearbox problems this morning. I've driven all afternoon with a bit of acrid smoke in the cabin. I don't know the cause."

Khalid Al Qassimi [BP Ford Abu Dhabi WRT]:

"There was a vibration for about 1km [after we clipped a bridge in the final stage]. The concrete from the bridge crumbled into the rim, but then it cleared. I wasn't 100 per cent confident with the handling so I softened the suspension for this afternoon and that was a big jump forward."

Barry Clark [Stobart VK M-Sport Ford WRT]:

"It has been a fantastic day and as it went on my confidence grew and the time on the last stage really showed this. The plan was to get around all the stages and we have done this, fairly unscathed, today and now I am in the top-12 which is my goal for the event. On the first stage after Service we had a moment where the car oversteered over a corner and dropped the back wheel off the road and we hit a small wall. Fortunately there was little damage so we were able to finish this afternoon's stages without losing any time."
